Joanne Desjardins

Joanne Desjardins has been an employee of Verrill Dana LLP for more than 30 years and she is key to the operation of the Augusta office.

In her capacity as a legal secretary, she has supported many firm partners and attorneys through the years. Currently, as an associate, Joanne assists our government affairs team with monthly billing, lobby registration and reporting, the weekly client Legislative Update, and grass roots and political campaigns.

Joanne is a recipient of the firm’s 2006 staff excellence award. She always cheerfully assists our visiting attorneys and clients from “away” (as we say in Maine). Joanne is engaged to Jeff Jones and has two daughters, loves to spend time with her family, and enjoys traveling, gardening, biking, camping and various other outdoor activities.
